The Village
Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon is located in the Departement 04, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, in south-west of France and about 100 km north of the Mediterranean. The village was founded by Templars in the 14th century.
A well-stocked supermarket, 3 restaurants, a bistro and several souvenir shops can be found here.
Popolation increases greatly every summer. There are always some concerts (modern and classic) an open air cinema as well as fireworks every summer.
People who prefer seclusion and silence should consider spending their holidays here in autumn or spring.
There is a street as well as a fortified path leading to the public beach.
